Chief construction advisor also to be appointed in raft of new reforms responding to Grenfell Inquiry’s final report
The government will introduce a single ‘super-regulator’ for the entire construction industry but not before 2028, Angela Rayner has pledged.
The deputy prime minister said the current regulatory regime would be consolidated into a single “strengthened” body reporting to a single secretary of state as she set out the government’s full response to the Grenfell Inquiry’s final report.
